In May 2013, Jagan Nath University, Bahadurgarh, Haryana, came into existence under Haryana State Legislature Act No. 8 of 2013. It is a Private University with its own 26 acres campus located at State Highway 22, Bahadurgarh-Jhajjar Road, Dist. Jhajjar, Haryana, NCR. With effect from the academic session 2013-14 University started functioning. University offers various UG and PG programs in the areas of Engineering and Technology, Architecture, Management, Agriculture Science, Commerce, Physiotherapy, Yoga and Naturopathy, Law, Journalism and Mass Communication, Teacher Education and Vocational Studies.

For providing quality professional education in the North India, JIMS institutions are a popular brand. The University is sponsored by Jagan Nath Gupta Memorial Educational Society which was established in 1993 as a non-profit organization. The Society is running 2 Universities, 10 higher education institutions, having more than 10,000 students and 600 faculty members.
