The Global Open University, Nagaland is entitle to award courses as characterized under Section 22 of the University Grants Commission Act 1956. The Length Education Council, New Delhi has accepted The International Open University, Nagaland for 1 year vide letter Recog, NGL, GOU, DEC, 2008/8685 outdated 02-06-2008 expressed by the executive, DEC. The application for the extension and renewal of association with strong endorsement of the Government of Nagaland has before been make to the Distance Education Council.
