RIT College of Education it is just over a few years now, when some eminent personalities had gathered together for a discussion with a purpose which soon caught up the idea to use their resources to form an organization which cater to the growing needs of the public in the Educational field. Feverish consultations took place on the following few days and other meaningful friends were roped in to accepting the idea and society was established.
As per the registered deed the objectives of the RITCOE are:
- To introduce any possible improvement in the system of education in its institutions from time to time.
- To undertake and carry out any step calculated to promote the cause of education.
- To promote educational, cultural and welfare activities and to acquire property and buildings for promotion of the objectives stated above.
RITCOE aims at excellence and this philosophy pervaded every aspect of the institute. The college maintains high academic standards and provides quality education coupled with discipline and inculcation of right values to mold students as responsible citizens and successful human beings, to accept and face the challenges of the world.
We are proud to have highly qualified, competent and committed faculty, who are well known and respected among the teaching fraternity. Most of our faculties are M.Phil./Ph.D. holders with several published papers and presentations to their credit. They are supported by visiting and guest faculty drawn from reputed academia to bridge the deficiencies and strengthen academic climate conducive for learning, growth and development.
