It means equipping the pupil with the means to find the answers for himself and within himself. Education empowers students to discover themselves – who they are as people. Within each student is a doctor, an engineer, a teacher, a social activist, a sports person, an environmentalist, a poet, an author or an economist. The teachers support them in channelizing resources vis-à-vis their dreams thus, sustainably generating civilized and productive human capital for serving our motherland. I cordially welcome you to our College website. Our College is situated in the rural area of Unakoti district of Tripura. In spite of communication problems and difficulties we never turned ourselves away from our goal that is to make the students cultured, fearless, expressive and self reliant. We take extreme efforts for the progress and all-round development of our students. The college offers degree courses in different subjects of Arts stream along with honours in the subjects Bengali, History, Philosophy, Sanskrit, Education, Economics and Political Science. Apart from this, we are also going to introduce Diploma in Computer Application,(DCA) , Diploma in Tourism Studies.The science stream is expected to start in 2014-15.As per perspective plan 2010-20 of Department of Higher Education diploma courses in Bamboo and cane Development, Rural Development, Forest Technology, BCA , BBA, Bio-Technology and Mass Communicationwill be introduce in the college within 2020.smart class room facility is available in the college under National Mission for Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT), project launched by the ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. . For performing the core and pious activity of teaching we have with us a range of Experienced and Devoted Staff, who is competent in respective area. They are looking after the overall development of 486 students in our College. The College has huge campus of 13.1 acres of land. The local inhabitants vacated land for construction of Academic and Administrative buildings of college. The construction work has already been started in March 2012.The total cost of construction of Administrative building is Rs99.07 Lacs and Rs 257.03 Lacs for Academic building.Our present Higher Education minister and Director of Higher education is very supportive for higher education in the state and has taken lead in supporting academic institutions of higher learning. The department designed ten years Perspective plan 2010-20. We consistently provide quality education to our pupil for making them able to survive in the age of perpetuating competition. The college has a computer lab to provide computer course to the students. We have set up career and counselling cell to place the students in different govt. and non-govt sectors. We hope that our college will be one of the best seat of higher learning in the state.
