Shri Sanatan Dharm Sabha, , is a voluntary, philanthropic and charitable organization engaged in various religious, educational, socio economic and welfare activities for the upliftment of humanity at large. Estd. in 1952, the society is dedicated tothe service of the poor, needy, downtrodden people, irrespective of their caste,creed,regionand religion.

The establishment of GITA BHAWAN, the highest spiritual centre, situated in the heart of the town was the first pioneering effort made by the then visionaries, which paved the way for the establishment of several other institutions of repute, at a later stage.

“What does it matter, if you gain the whole world but, lose your own soul” have been the dictum of the founders of the society. The food for the soul is no less important, in the world of today, which is suffering form fierce, competition, materialism and tensions all around. Regular Bhajan, Kirtan, Katha and Hawans are the normal features.

The festivals like Dussehra, Diwali, Ram Navmi, Janamashtami etc. are celebrated at large. Several rooms in the campus of the temple give refuge to saints, homeless and deserted people. No less than a hundred poor take free food at Gita Bhawan wherein FREE LANGAR is arranged every day. It also provides venue for other organizations and religious institutions of the town for performing various socio economics activities.
