Adamas Institute of Teacher Education is a Institution for B.Ed Course, recognized by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) and affiliated to the West Bengal State University. Adamas Institute of Teacher Education started with 100 students in the B.Ed course for the academic session 2012-2013 with a view to create an atmosphere where teaching and education will be totally integrated with the serious research endeavour.

The Institution stretches over 2 acres of land within the campus of the Adamas Knowledge City. Apart from regular class rooms, Adamas Institute of Teacher Education has a well stocked library, a multipurpose hall, ICT Resource Centre, Psychology Resource Centre, Art and Craft Resource Centre, Psychology Resource Centre, Health and Physical Education Resource Centre and Science and Mathematics Resource Centre, beside rooms for seminar and other facilities. The students will be trained to teach senior classes in reputed schools of India during advanced stage of learning. Adamas Institute of Teacher Education is only the College among the other colleges under the West Bengal State University, where all the students from the 1st batch have been awarded a B.Ed Degree with first class. It’s noteworthy in this regard, that 30 out of 100 students (from the 1st Batch) have been able to crack the S.S,C examination successfully in 2013.
