National Institute for Rural Banking (NIRB) Bangalore has, over the past 25 years , emerged as one of the leading Training and Management Development Institutions in the country for the Rural Banking Sector, offering a variety of training programmes to the personnel of Rural Financing Institutions in general and particularly to the Co-operative Credit Institutions and RRBs

Since its inception in 1990, NIRB is located at the sprawling campus of Regional Institute of Co-operative Management in Bengaluru, the garden city of India.

Ihe Institute has created its own facilities of f/urnished air-conditioned class rooms with audio visual aids to meet the training needs. In 2011, NIRB established a fully air-conditioned , state of the art computer laboratory with 31 systems, connectivity, LAN and provision for CBS End Users (application) programmes.

In addition to the above, NIRB utilizes RICM infrastructure including library, recreation facilities, hostel and mess which meet the necessary standards for conducting the training programmes.
