The Institute of Dental and Medical Sciences, along with a General Hospital has been conceptualized as a center of excellence in Dental and Medical Sciences training and research.

The society has achieved the target of establishing a Dental Institute with excellent teaching and research facilities. Its B.D.S. Degree has been recognized by the Govt. of India, Dental Council of India, and the  affiliation granted to it by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna University, Srinagar Garhwal Uttarakhand, thus, this dream project has come to its existence with its rightful name as “Uttaranchal Dental and Medical Research Institute” situated at Mazri Grant Haridwar Road, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
