Sir Shapurji Billimoria Foundation is a charity trust founded in 1998 to promote Integrated Education in India. Integrated Education is an innovative teaching methodology that not only includes but integrates gifted, normal and special children; poor and rich children; disadvantaged and privileged children; sharing the same class in school.

The foundation believes in integrating the methodologies of general, special and remedial education so as to create one unified system of education. SSBF offers India’s only Integrated Education Teachers’ Diploma, affiliated to the SNDT University and National Council for Teacher Education, Government of India. UNICEF declared it as one of only five such courses across South Asia.It also conducts seminars and short term courses to propagate integrated education. With India’s Right to Education Act, 2009 which obliges all schools to enrol in each class 25% children from poor and disadvantaged background, this becomes particularly relevant.
