Yogeshwari Mahavidyalaya established in 1956 is one of the oldest science college in the rural area of Marathwada region, which has been included in the list of good and excellent colleges by Dr. B.A.M.University and same is communicated to National Institute of Education Planning And Administration (NIEPA).

It is certainly one of the very few colleges to offer the best learning facilities to students. Students are evaluated through out the year by unit tests, term exams, tutorials etc. Presentation of seminars, group discussions, elocution, essay-writing competitions, quiz competitions, general knowledge test, benefit students in building their overall personality. Maximum possible, infrastructure facilities including library facilities, games facilities, laboratory facilities are made available to students.

College spare no efforts in carrying out N.S.S., N.C.C. and extension activities efficiently. Many of our students brought laurels, by participation in R.D. Parade at Delhi , participation in successfully trekking expeditions. Construction of bandhare, plantation near Renuka Parisar (Ambajogai), Adult Education Programme, continued education programme at near by villages are same of the successful projects completed by the college.

Teachers are always encouraged to participate in seminars, conferences and research activities. Nearly fifty percent of the staff are honored with M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree either under faculty.Improvement programme of UGC or independently self-financing courses (Non-grant basis) in the subject of Computer Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology received wide response.

The college always think on the optimum use of its infrastructure. Many of our past students enjoying eminent positions in different walks of life. Hon. Shri. Pramodji Mahajan, ex- Union Minister, Govt. of India and Hon. Shri Gopinathraoji Munde are among our alumni. Inspite of all this we are of the opinion that one should not be satisfied with only existing standards, and lot more is to be done in imparting higher education.
