"Moswel Society" is the promoting Body of "Darbhanga Nursing School, Darbhanga Bihar". It is registered under the Society Registration Act 21 of 1860 having Registration No.: 242/92. Darbhanga Nursing School was established in the year 2010 under the Moswel Society with an aim to provide quality nursing education and prepare nurses with the highest level of education and practice.
The College is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, Govt. of India from session 2016-2018 and also recognized by the Health Department Govt. of Bihar vide letter No.: 301(6) dated 20th June 2015 and Bihar Nurses Registration Council (BNRC) Patna, Bihar.
