Bhagini Nivedita College (BNC) is a constituent school of University of Delhi. It was set up by the then Delhi Administration in August, 1993 as a young ladies school; in the country and semi-urban edges of South West Delhi. It is currently financed and upheld by the Government of Delhi. The school is named after Sister Nivedita, a supporter of Swami Vivekanand who committed as long as she can remember for the instruction and welfare of ladies.
