The National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) is a self-governing body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Government of India. Set up to advance, create and spread Urdu language, Council began its activity in Delhi on April 1, 1996. In its ability as the National Nodal Agency for the advancement of the Urdu language NCPUL is the chief planning and checking expert for advancement of Urdu language and Urdu education.Click here for Society Registration Certificate No. S/26252 of 1994.

- To advance, create and spread Urdu language.
