Prestigious industrialist and humanitarian Dr Karsanbhai K Patel, the organizer of the Nirma Group of Industries, built up the Nirma Education and Research Foundation (NERF) in the year 1994 with a dream to advance advanced education and give astounding instructive offices to the adolescent in India. In 1995, Nirma Institute of Technology – associated to Gujarat University – was built up by the NERF. It was trailed by the foundation of Nirma Institute of Management in 1996.
In the year 2003, the Government of Gujarat endorsed the proposition of the NERF to establish the Nirma University, Ahmedabad. Henceforth, the Nirma University was built up under a unique Act gone by the Gujarat State Legislative Assembly. The University Grants Commission (UGC) properly perceived the University under the Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act.
The NERF is similarly dedicated to class training. It firmly has faith in the way that a solid establishment is an essential for instruction. With this way of thinking, it runs two schools 'Nirma Vidyavihar' at Bodakdev and Chharodi in Ahmedabad, where the accentuation is laid on to offer some benefit based instruction clubbed up with creative instructive practices.
