Rishi Valley Education Center is controlled by Krishnamurti Foundation, India. It is situated in a shielded valley in the inside of country Andhra Pradesh, about 15km from the closest town, Madanapalle, and around 140 km north-east of Bangalore.

In 2008, the Andhra Pradesh government pronounced Rishi Valley and its environs an 'Exceptional Development Zone', with the order to 'secure and ration its rich and various condition from getting to be corrupted through unchecked development' (G.O.Ms.No.97, 24/01/08).
