Osmania College, Kurnool was built up in 1947 by a prestigious altruist, Dr. M. Abdul Haq Saheb, M.A., D.Phil. (Oxford). It is a minority organization, perceived by UGC under Section 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act of 1956 and subsidiary to Rayalaseema University, Kurnool(from the scholarly year 2010-2011). The school is situated on a grounds of 9.5 sections of land and offers courses in Arts, Sciences, Commerce, Management and Computer Applications at the undergrad level. M.A.(English), M.A. (Telugu), M.Sc.(Mathematics), M.Sc.(Physics), M.Sc.(Organic Chemistry) and M.Com.(General) are the courses accessible at P.G. level. The school has the understudy quality of 2430(Men and Women) and the staff of 183 (Teaching 126 and Non-instructing 57).
