The originator of Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College Padmabhushan Shri. N. Ramaswami Ayyar began Savithri Vidyasala Hindu Girls' Higher Secondary College in the year 1938, with a respectable motivation behind giving training to young ladies out of sight of Indian custom and culture.
