The Food Craft Institute is situated in the Campus of the eminent Central University of India, known as Aligarh Muslim University. The Institute had been set up under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in 1984, as a self-sufficient foundation enrolled under the Societies Registration Act 1860 and is administered by an Executive Body 'Leading body of Governor's which comprises of the delegates of the Central Government, State Government, and Aligarh Muslim University. At present, the Institute is financed through a Grant-in-Aid by the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Since foundation, it has been granting its own Diploma and Certificates. Anyway directly all the Diploma Courses have been partnered with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), Noida and their principles of affirmation, assessment, and grant of Diploma and so forth will apply. The Institute offers the accompanying courses, Post-Graduate Diploma, Diploma, and Certificate.
