Government Arts College for Women (Autonomous), Pudukkottai, was built up in the year 1969. The school was begun with Pre-University Course and has developed step by step in quality and stature in each circle of action. At present 13 Under Graduate Courses, 10 Post Graduate Courses, 6 M.Phil. furthermore, 6 Ph.D Courses are being offered by the school.
