Central Labor Institute, Mumbai is finishing 50 years of its reality on ninth February 2016. It is the main organization in the nation on Safety and Health under Directorate General Factory Advice Service and Labor Institutes (DGFASLI) Government of India.The establishment stone of the CLI building was laid by the principal Prime Minister of India , Late Shri Jawahar Lal Nehru on seventh October 1954 and Late Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishanan, the then President of India initiated it on ninth February 1966 as a National Center for research, preparing and consultancy on different issues identified with human factor.
The Director General CLI Dr. Avneesh Singh educated that to recognize the Golden Jubilee Celebration, DGFASLI is sorting out number of specialized exercises for advancement of Occupational Safety and Health. A National Conference on "Word related Safety and Health – Best Practices" is being sorted out on ninth and tenth February, 2016 at CLI Mumbai with gathering of National and International Delegates had some expertise in the field of OSH.
The gathering will be introduced by Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Labor &Employment, Government of India on ninth February 2016.
