Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Nursing, Pune, was built up on 26th September 1992 under Pune University, headed by Dr. Maj. (Mrs.) Tapti Bhattacharjee. College of Nursing turned into a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) in 1996.
