Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, Govt. Polytechnic Ambota was built up in 1995 on Ambedkar Jyanti at town - Ambota, Tehsil - Amb, Distt. - Una in Himachal Pradesh. The Polytechnic gives three years confirmation courses in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering. furthermore, Architecture Assistantship disciplines. All courses are endorsed by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharmshala (H.P.) conducts semester assessments and Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT). 

The Campus is spread over 10.1 sections of land, other than Shivbari at Ambota in District Una of Himachal Pradesh. The grounds is having very much outfitted structures.
