The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) is the primary Institute of its sort to be set up at in the State of Bihar in the year 2007. It is a self-sufficient foundation of national significance, set up under the aegis of Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. of India under NIPER Act 1998 at Hajipur in Vaishali District of Bihar. It is a focal point of greatness for advanced education, innovative work in pharmaceutical sciences, imagined to give authority in pharmaceutical sciences and other related regions. The Institute is by and by rendering it scholarly and look into exercises through three offices viz, (I) Biotechnology (2007 onwards), (ii) Pharmacy Practice (2007 onwards), new incepted Pharmacology and Toxicology in 2018 with admission limit of 16 PG seats in every Department and a sum of 6 Ph.D. seats. The Institute was under the Mentorship of Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences (RMRIMS), Patna till 31.10.2018. Presently, the NIPER's very own first Director has taken the charge from 01.11.2018 and the Institution is under injected with energy and power in accomplishing more current statures in scholastics and research, alongside managerial great office systems and wellbeing.
