First Teacher Education faculty in Kalyan was established in Gregorian calendar month 1990 by SHETKARI SHIKSHAN PRASARAK MANDAL, MUMBAI. The strength of B.Ed. students were eighty that was exaggerated to one hundred in 2005. The M.Ed. course has been started in August 2007 with twenty-five students intake that later has exaggerated by fifteen in 2008 by NCTE Bhopal (Western Region). the overall numbers of the students’ intake is one hundred in B.Ed. and forty in M.Ed.
