Sri Sarada college of Education was established within the year 1968-69 by the dynamic effort of Mrs Seetha Lakshmi Ramaswamy(Yatiswari Sarada Priya) underneath the post of Srimath Hindoo Chidbhavananda of Sri Ramakrishna Tapovanam, Tirupparaithurai. With the aim of moulding the long run lecturers with intellectual, ethical and religious values, Sri Sarada school Education Trust, Salem propels the establishment within the promising path.
Sri Sarada College of Education could be a Government motor-assisted school and it had been connected to the University of Madras from its origin to 1998.
