We feel upbeat and glad to advise you that the President of India Shrimati Pratibha Devi Singh Patil gave the 'Padma Bhushan' grant on Prof. Dr. S. B. Mujumdar, Founder and President, Symbiosis in the induction held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi on Thursday, March 22, 2012.
The Padma Bhushan, India's third most elevated regular citizen grant, was pronounced for Dr. S. B. Mujumdar by the President of India on Republic Day.
Dr. S. B. Mujumdar is a recognized Academician and Educationist. He is the Founder and President of Symbiosis – a multi-lingual, worldwide and multi-disciplinary instructive complex of universal notoriety. He is additionally the Chancellor of the Symbiosis International University. In valuation for his long and celebrated social commitment in the field of instruction, the President of India granted the renowned 'Padma Shri' to Dr. S. B. Mujumdar in 2005. Dr. Mujumdar was likewise granted the 'Punyabhushan' grant in the year 2009 because of Hon'ble Vice President Shri. Hamid Ansari.
