Jawaharlal Darda Institute of Engineering and Technology was set up in 1996 with the aphorism of giving subjective specialized training in the exceptionally potential Vidarbha district of Maharashtra.Under the capable and dynamic authority of Shri Vijay Darda, Chairman, Lokmat Media Pvt. Ltd, and M.P. Rajya Sabha (1998-2016), the organization is walking towards satisfaction of the fantasies of our cherished 'Babuji', Late Shri Jawaharlal Darda. The foundation has an extensive structure of 2.95 lakhs square feet spread over 17.3 sections of land of green level encompassed by minor hillocks, trees, valleys and lake while in transit to Amravati from Yavatmal. JDIET is an independent designing foundation and partnered to the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati and pursues the course educational plan as recommended by it. 

The foundation is perceived by All India Council For Technical Education, New Delhi and is administered by the principles and guidelines of AICTE and Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra. Every single qualified course were licensed by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the Maharashtra Government has perceived the organization as 'A' grade.
