Pope John Paul II College of Education was established by His Grace, Dr.V.S.Selvanathar, Former Archbishop of Pondicherry and Cuddalore, on 23rd 1986 to commermorate the noteworthy visit of Saintly Pope John Paul II to India. It is a Christian minority Institution built up and overseen by the Archdiocese of Pondicherry - Cuddalore.
Throughout the years, guided by the celebrated previous Archbishop Dr.Michael Augustine and the present Archbishop Dr. Antony Anandarayar, the College has developed into a head establishment of instructor preparing, guiding transformational changes in organization, giving ideal infrastructural offices, differentiating courses, embracing inventive computerized showing learning methodologies and keeping up a positive learning condition.
