Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society has established the College of Nursing with Associate in Nursing objective to supply an academic Programme through that the graduate's are ready to assume responsibility within the Primary, Secondary & Tertiary care of individuals as an expert nurse. The aim of the establishment was to fulfill the demand for Nursing personnel during this region and serve the state & nation in addition.

The College was the primary of its kind to emerge in 1991 as a non-public Nursing establishment with thirteen students as intake throughout the tenure of Dr. B.G. Jawali.

The College was started within the first floor of CT Scan BTGH, with three lecture halls and one Nursing laboratory, underneath them in a position administration of Dr. P. S. Shankar, Dean MRMC Gulbarga. In 1993 Sri. A.P. Chowdiah took charge as Principal of H.K.E.S College of Nursing Gulbarga. Later the College of Nursing was shifted to IInd floor of BTGH in 1994. a brand new College building was inaugurated within BTGH field on twenty-four.11.1999 by Sri. S.M. avatar the then Chief Minister of Karnataka.
