Shiva Group of Institutions was begun in the year 2007, initiating with Shiva College of Education under the aegis of Shiva Education Society. This was the primary College of instruction (B.Ed) in Distt. Bilaspur. Presently it is NAAC authorize and running with the admission 200 seats. In 2009 the Group has begun an Engineering College named Shiva Institute of Engineering and Technology, offering under alumni program in five controls viz. Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and correspondence Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering prompting B.Tech. degree.
