Yuvaraja’s faulty one in all the four constituent faculties of the University of Mysore is wealthy in history. it had been 1st established as Associate in Nursing Intermediate faculty on twenty-fourth Gregorian calendar month 1928 and within the year 1947-48, once Independence, the school was upgraded to a primary Grade faculty.

In the year 1927, His Highness Sri Krishnaraja Wodeyar liberally sanctioned the building for the Intermediate faculty. The foundation-stone for the structure was arranged on 8th August 1927 by the eminent thinker and scholar Rajatantra Pravina Sir Brajendranath Seal, the then Vice-chancellor. the muse stone was arranged within the presence of a distinguished gathering including amongst others, Sir Mirza Ismail, the then Dewan of Mysore, Pandit Motilal national leader, father of our distinguished 1st Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal national leader and Mahamokhopadhyaya Sidhanthi Shivashankara Shastry. once the completion of the development of the most block in 1928, a two-year Intermediate Course in Arts & Science was introduced on a twenty-fourth Gregorian calendar month, 1928 and therefore the school began its eventful career.

As a number one tutorial centre, it's been serving the explanation for pedagogy in Science discipline since 1947. within the year 1954, at the time of the celebration of Silver Jubilee, it had been re-named as ‘Yuvaraja’s College’ to commemorate the association of His Highness Sri Jayachamaraja Wodeyar with the school.
