Government College of Pharmacy, Aurangabad has been started in 1996 with the efforts of Honorable Late Shri. Govindbhaiji Shroff as a locality of his social obligation to that Marathwada region was awaiting. at the start, it's been started mutually of the Departments of state faculty of Engineering. Afterwards, in 1999, it's noninheritable the standing of full-fledged Government faculty. Now the school is placed in its standing or art building of around 8000 sq. ft. The institute in its short span has established credibleness to impart quality education to lots. The institute is attached to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad and approved by AICTE and Government of Maharashtra. it's conducting four years B.Pharm. course with an annual intake of sixty students, two-year M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) with annual intake of eighteen students and 08 students and vi years integrated course.
Faculty
The college has twelve qualified school members together with four pH.D. excluding college boy teaching, the school members are concerned in analysis work and have incontestible their capabilities by publication their analysis work and supporting close industries.
Library
At present faculty, library has roughly 6500 text and reference books, price quite Rs. 60 Lakhs, covering a good space of information. Eight international and twenty two National and seven International Journals are signed presently as text or web editions.c
