Realizing this undisputed reality, Late, Sri. K.N.Nagegowda associated his associates created an initiative to point out a degree faculty in his motherland. Hence the Shanthi Education Society (R) was established within the year 1970 with the noble mission of ‘Providing education to the agricultural Children’. Presently, the society is running a highschool, a Pre-University faculty with Arts, Science and Commerce schools, a Degree faculty consisting of Arts, Commerce, Management and Science courses, a 3 years Law faculty, associate ITI faculty, and PG course i.e. M.Com., degree. Among these Pre-University faculty and Degree faculty consisting of Arts and Commerce schools return beneath grant in aid and remainder of the courses run beneath the self-financing system. the faculty has a permanent affiliation to the school of Mysore and included beneath section 2(f) and 12B of the UGC Act, 1956.
