Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology (ALIET) is overseen and regulated by the individuals from the Society of Jesus, otherwise called Jesuits, having a place with 'Jesuit Province Society – Hyderabad', covering both the conditions of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It was built up in 2008 with the endorsement of Rev. Fr. Subside Hans Kolvenbach, the then Superior General of the Society of Jesus, and with the consent of Rev. Fr. Joseph Sebastian SJ, the then commonplace of the Andhra Jesuit Province. The foundation was at long last set up under the administration of Rev. Fr. Pothireddy Anthony SJ, the then commonplace of the Andhra Jesuit Province and through the energetic endeavors of Rev. Fr. Thainese SJ, the establishing Director of ALIET. The organization, perceived by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and partnered to JNTU Kakinada, was affirmed by AICTE, New Delhi, on fourth June 2008. ALIET is a sister-establishment of Andhra Loyola College (ALC), Vijayawada, a well-presumed self-governing school began in 1953 and granted the status 'School with Potential for Excellence' (CPE) by the UGC. Both these foundations, arranged in the equivalent 98-section of land grounds, are enrolled under the Loyola College Society, Guntur-Vijayawada. ALIET started with four B. Tech. courses in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and Information Technology (IT). In 2009, a PG course in Master of Business Administration (MBA) was presented, trailed by B. Tech. courses in Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Civil Engineering (CE) in the years 2010 and 2013 individually. Two M. Tech. courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Computer Science Engineering (CSE) are being offered from 2012 onwards.
