Govt Kamla Nehru Mahila Mahavidyalaya was initially settled in 1964 by an overseeing body named Shastri Smarak Sanstha in Damoh. Around then, there were no establishment of advanced education in this district of Bundelkhand. Late Mr. R.P. Mody a famous freedam fighter,took a spearheading job in foundation of this college.Earlier the College was running in a private leased house. In 1974 a significant advancement occurred when the College created and manufactured its own structure in common ward region of the city. First and foremost it was simply an expressions College. In october 1982 the College was taken by Higher Education Department of M.P. Govenment and from that point forward it become a Government College. At that point the allround progress and development is obvious. At present , there are four resources, Arts personnel, Science workforce, Pure Home Science and Commerece Faculty. Likewise. BCA and other PC application courses are as of late begun subsequent to getting affliation from H.S. Gour University Sagar. At present in excess of 1400 young ladies are studing and around 24 College instructors are revealing their duties.At present Dr. G.P. CHOUDHARY is the head of the College.
