The Janata Shikshana Samiti is an enrolled beneficent trust. It has rich customs and a radiant history. It is established in the convention of administration under the nobel initiative generally Shri R.S. Hukkerikar, a Renowned Educationist – cum – Statesman, who is the organizer of the establishment. The Samiti is rendering helpful administrations to general society in this piece of Karnataka throughout the previous 74 years in instructive, social and specialized circles. It was felt that interest for a law College was long pending and it was its obligation to satisfy the need.Hence J.S.S's. Sakri Law College came to be set up in the year 1955 and took up the strenuous errand of scattering legitimate instruction, when there was a desperate need of an organization for the reason. The College is named after the main business tycoon; Sri Venkappanna Sakri as a sign of respect for the colossal gifts made by him. 

The J.S.S's Sakri Law College Hubli is arranged in an extensive grounds at Heggeri Colony by Ayurvedic College, simply behind the State Highway of Karwar Road. The College has been moved to new self – claimed , costly and wonderful structure in the year 2000 with all offices like Library, staff Room, Recreation Room, Playground and Canteen with Aqua water offices. Because of the generous signal of our Revered Chairman Pujya Dr. D Veerendra Heggade of Dharmasthala and the Governing assemblage of Janata Shikshana Samiti, Dharwad who had been instrumental in Providing this structure for the Law College with every single current enhancement. With the help of UGC we have introduced Computer, Xerox offices and UGC Recourse Center, Language Lab which go far in satisfying the necessities of understudy's locale.
