The Nalanda Educational Society (NES) was set up in the year 1991. The general public was begun with the destinations of bestowing quality instruction to every hopeful understudy independent of station, statement of faith and religion, and to advance training in the retrogressive territory of Nalgonda region. The general public was instigated to begin Pharmacy College as there was no school in Nalgonda region, and because of regularly expanding interest for the course in the locale. Thus, Nalanda College of Pharmacy (NCOP) was begun in the year 1995 with B.Pharm course. Afterward, D.Pharm course was begun in 1997. 

Dr. G. Achaiah, M.Pharm, Ph.D., was the primary Principal of the College. In the first place, the school was begun working in a leased structure in Nalgonda; later, the school reason was moved to an adjacent town; Marriguda, in 1998 to oblige both B.Pharm and D.Pharm understudies. Claim school building was developed in January 2000. 

First clumps of D.Pharm and B.Pharm understudies have finished the courses in 1999. Pass level of B.Pharm, I group, was 97%, while that of D.Pharm, was 91.2%. Until this point, 14 clumps of both B.Pharm and D.Pharm have been effectively finished. We have gained numerous University positions in B.Pharm course and state level positions in D.Pharm course till date. Our understudies have taken an interest effectively in a few courses, symposiums, inquire about exercises, and modern/instructive visits consistently from 1995.
