Mother Teresa College of Teacher Education, a CMI Institution is possessed and overseen by Rural Educational and Social Trust Perambra. Rustic Educational and Social Trust is an intentional association enrolled as 500/94 preceding the District Registrar [general], Kozhikode under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. 

The primary goals of the association is to give best quality training to the poor living in country territories, and there by create them to acknowledge and embrace to the most recent advances for acquiring a superior living. 

The association means to give its support of the overall population as an altruistic one profiting the country poor, with no qualification concerning religion, race, cast, network, sex, shading or nativity and work for the upliftment of the individuals by giving them a comprehensive preparing approach i.e., otherworldly, mental and physical improvement in their way of life. 

The National Council for Teacher Education conceded acknowledgment according to the request no. F.KL/SEC/N/259/SRO/NCTE/2005-2006/3921, dated : 09-11-2005 and the University of Calicut in their request no.GA/D3/3987/2006,dated:06-06-2006 has agreed association to the multi year B. Ed. degree course of this foundation.
