Remembering this respectable job and call of the instructors Mar Joseph Powathil, the incredible visionary in training spearheaded St.John the Baptist's College of Education in 1995. His vision of bringing all educator instruction courses in the grounds was made effective with the expansion of Teacher Training Course(TTC) in 2004, Pre-Primary Teacher Training Course(PPTTC) in 2006 and the Master of Education Course(M Ed) in 2007. We are glad being one of the main two schools running all the educator training programs in Kerala.
