The establishment stone of the College building was laid on sixteenth May 1955 by H.H.Raj Pramukh of Travancore – Cochin State. The College was introduced by Dr.K.G.Saxena, Homeopathic Physician to the Hon. Leader of India on fourteenth July 1958. It was an occasion which introduced another time for the further improvement of Homeopathic Medical Education in India, especially in Kerala State. In this way in the year 1978 the administration and responsibility for Institution alongside resources were moved to the Nair Service Society, one of the chief instructive organization in India which deals with a few Arts and Science Colleges, Training Colleges, Colleges, Engineering College, Polytechnic College and Multi Speciality Hospitals, Working Women's Hostel and so forth. 

Our College conducts UG Course (BHMS) in Homeopathy since 1983 after the nullification of Diploma Course (DHMS) by the State Government. The College is arranged at Sachivothamapuram, 10 km south to Kottayam. It has 610 pennies of land with 45000 sq.ft. working there in. The State and Central Government has set up a Homeopathic Medical Collegiate Hospital and National Homeopathy Research Institute in Mental Health separately near the College for giving clinical preparing to the understudies of our College. The State Government has given office to our understudies to bestow clinical preparing at Government Medical College and District Hospital, Kottayam for the subjects of Surgery, OBG and Forensic Medicine. The College is outfitted with undeniable offices, Lecture corridors, Museums, Dissection lobby, Laboratories, Auditorium, Seminar Hall, Audio Visual Hall, Girls Hostel and so forth. We have set up a Drug Proving Research Program under the rules of National Homeopathy Research Institute in Mental Health.
