In the Year 1987 87 Sri ManjunathaSwamy PU College was built up by the association of PUC Board and Govt of Karnataka. In the Year 1988-89 Under the Chairmanship of KandikarVeerappa held a general public gathering and made a goals to open a degree school at Nituvalli, Davangere. In such manner, application was sent to Kuvempu University for Degree school alliance The Registrar of Kuvempu University and Govt. of Karnataka concurred association to degree school in the year 1988-1989. It was named as Sri ManjunathaSwamy First Grade College in the Year 1988-1989 with the association of Kuvempu University. In the year 2009-10 our school has subsidiary with DavanagereUniversity, Grant-in-Aid in 2011 by Karnataka Government. Under U.G.C demonstration of 1956 TheCollege has 2F in 2012 and Permantely subsidiary with Davanagere University in 2016, The College has 12B in 2017 and The Institution was licensed with "C" Grade in 2015. Sri ManjunathaSwamy First Grade College is Functioning for giving great training in B.A/B.Com Courses with the Strength of 382 Students since 24 years. In this Co-training College over half of the understudies are comprising SC/ST and OBC's.
