Anjar Education Society is an enrolled open trust established in the year 1972, the sole reason for existing being the upliftment of instruction and the instructive guidelines of the town. The general public started its exercises by running different instructing/composing classes, book circulation and advising of understudies. Later it was instrumental in getting the SSC community for Anjar town and furthermore organized the boarding and cabin of the out station SSC up-and-comers.
In the year 1990 it built up the main English medium school at Anjar. This satisfied a long-standing open want and today a similar English School (Smt. K. G. Manek English School) has cut out its very own position. The general public continued extending its exercises and later established a Gujarati medium elementary school (Anjar Vidyalaya, established in 1996), an English Medium High School (Shree Uttam Secondary English School, established in 1998), Gujarati Medium High School (Th. N.P.N. Secondary School, established in 2000), English medium Higher Secondary School (Southampton Vedic Society Higher Secondary English School, established in 2004), Gujarati medium Higher Secondary School (Anjar Uchhaytar Madhyamik Vidyalaya, established in 2005) and another Arts and Commerce College (Smt. H. B. Palan College of Arts and Commerce, established in 2006). At present 3200 understudies study in our instructive grounds and we have complete staff of 114.
In the quake of 2001, the general public lost all its infrastructural offices. The occasion neglected to demotivate the individuals from the general public. It initially started to run the schools in tents and later was offered rooms (pre-created) by Bharatiya Jain Sangathana Pune. The school was additionally one of the primary schools of Kachchh to start classes on the principal day of the scholastic year 2001-2002.
Today, the general public has a 13 sections of land plot at study No.156, Meghpar Kumbhardi, Anjar and has set up two Educational grounds there. Presently the entirety of our schools are running in this new grounds. The Campus has demonstrated to be a help for the individuals of the town since the grounds gives formal Education from K.G. to College.
