The College of Agriculture, Padannakad is arranged in Kasaragod, the northern-most region of Kerala. The school was set up in the year 1994, as the third farming school under the Faculty of Agriculture of the Kerala Agricultural University. From that point forward it has imagined a wide scope of progress and advancement in scholastic, research and expansion needs of the Northern Zone of Kerala. At present there are 21 offices working in the College.
The school offers multi year proficient degree program in Agriculture, B.Sc.Hon.(Ag.) Current admission limit with regards to undergrad program is 50. From the scholastic year 2011-12, the school is additionally offering Post Graduate Programs in Agronomy, Soil Science and Agricultural Entomology.
