The beginning of Don Bosco Arts and Science College (DBASC), Angadikadavu can be followed back to the year 1992. Mr. Thomas Thanangattu, a past understudy of Don Bosco and owner of GINA Engineering Company, a main development firm in Bangalore gave six sections of land of land from his familial property to the Salesians of Don Bosco for building up a school for those looking for a quality foundation for advanced education in northern regions of Kerala. 

Wear Bosco Arts and Science College had a modest start in 1994 as a Parallel College, offering pre-qualification, undergrad and postgraduate courses of Calicut University for around 600 understudies, with Fr. Thomas Poovelickal SDB as Rector and Manager, and Bro. Shaji Kalavanal SDB as Principal. 

It was in 2002 that Don Bosco Parallel College was raised to an associated Self-Financing College of Kannur University, with Master of Computer Applications (MCA) as its solitary scholarly program. Two new postgraduate projects, Master of Communication and Journalism (MCJ) and Master of Social Work (MSW), were presented in 2003.
