Bharath Education Society was enrolled under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960 (Karnataka Act 17 of 1960) during the year 1971, with the sole object of setting up schools, Colleges and inns in the territory of Karnataka and to present potential enhancements in the arrangement of instruction now and again. The organization undertakings of the general public are vested with the Managing Committee comprising of people with authoritative productivity and experience from varying backgrounds.
On the proposal of the Government of Karnataka, the Bangalore University has agreed approval of association to begin 5 years LLB course by the general public from the scholarly year 1998-99 and the equivalent has been perceived by the Bar Council of India.
BES College of Law has additionally started the multi year LLB course from the scholastic year 2006-2007 and the equivalent has been perceived by the Bar chamber of India, New Delhi. Presently the Karnataka State Law University has assumed control over the Law College from the scholastic year 2009-10 onwards.
