Foundation of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS) was set up in consistence with the mandates of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in light of an open intrigue case in 1993. The Institute is a self-ruling body enrolled under the Societies Act 1860, supported mutually by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and Government of NCT of Delhi. As a self-sufficient body, the organization has its Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulations appropriately endorsed under the Societies Act. Pastor for Health, Govt. of NCT of Delhi is the President and Chief Secretary, Govt. of NCT of Delhi is the Chairman of the Executive Council of the establishment.
