MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences is set up at Ghanpur, Medchal Mandal, Ranga Reddy Dist of Telangana by Share Medical Care (NGO), during 2001-2002 over a region of 40 sections of land in the MediCiti Campus of 200 sections of land. A 300 had relations with multi-forte MediCiti Hospital working at Ghanpur since 1992 is joined to MIMS. MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) was begun during the year 2002-2003 with yearly admission of 100 understudies. The school has begun working from seventeenth October 2002 after confirmation of first group of understudies of 100. Medicinal Council of India has agreed consent for the first bunch on 26th August 2002 vide letter No. U.12012/111/2000-ME (P-II) dated sixth August 2002, Govt of India, Min of Health and FW. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare ,Govt of India, with the suggestion of Medical Council of India Recognized the MIMS for granting of MBBS degrees with impact from yr 2007 vide its letter No. U 12012/333/2000-ME(P-II) Dt.19/06/2008. also, Continuation of acknowledgment allowed vide 

Letter No .MCI-34(41)2007-/28718) Dt.13/06/2012 MCI conceded authorizations for increment of seats for 100 to 150 from scholastic year 2012-13 vide Letter No.MCI-.37(1)/2012-MED/114274 Dt.27/06/2012 and recharging for second clump and third bunch of understudies of 50 for the acedemic year 2014-15 vide Lr.No.MCI-37(1)(R1-6)/2012-MED./15117 Dt..20-06-2013 , arrangement for expanding the bed solidarity to 700 before fifth year's over (increment 0f 50 beds every year) As on date the bed quality is 720 barring 50 beds of Intensive Care .Imbued with an enthusiasm to serve the network and make a focal point of brilliance in medicinal training, a bunch of forward - looking dynamic personae, with an exceptionally proficient and illuminated mechanical gathering to back up, set up MediCiti Institute of Medical Science, at first, an undergrad therapeutic school at Ghanpur, Medchal Mandal, Ranga Reddy Dist of Telangana under Share Medical Care, a not-revenue driven NGO, during 2001-2002.
