The Laureate Institute of Education and Training (L.I.E.T.) was established in 2006 and is managed by Laureate academic Society (Regd. underneath Societies Registration Act XXI, 1860 Regd. No. 2/1993, dated twenty-second Sept 1992).
It is a Co-educational institute that has been granted recognition by the govt of Himachal Pradesh and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and attached to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.
The institute has attained the Institutional Eligibility for Quality Assessment (IEQA) standing of NAAC. Intake of the Institute for B.Ed. The course is a hundred for Science/Commerce/Arts graduates. The institute has all the required infrastructure and tutorial facilities as per the norms of state of Himachal Pradesh/NCTE/H.P. University.
