C. U. Shah College of Engineering and Technology is a self-financed foundation set up on fifteenth September, 1997 matching with Engineer's Day, and initiated scholarly exercises with two orders, in particular Computer Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The Institution is endorsed by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi and Government of Gujarat, and was associated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot (Gujarat) and after that to Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad. Following three years, the college will be the piece of C. U. Shah University, started by the Vardhman Bharti Trust (VBT), and appropriately affirmed as private University by the Government of Gujarat on 22nd April 2013.
