Dental college & Hospital came breathing within the year 1994 with the intake capability of twenty students per annum to the BDS course so higher Dental Health Services could also be provided to the individuals of the state. thenceforth the intake capability was increased from twenty to forty admissions and intrinsically the coaching course for the forty admission was started from the educational session 2003-2004. any the sixty admission were started from 2007-08. additionally the MDS course in four specialties i.e. Oral Surgery, periodontia, dental orthopaedics and Community medicine have additionally been started from 2006-07 with intake capability of two students every in each department. this faculty has started MDS course within the specialties of Operative medicine, prosthodontia and Paedodontics from the session 2013-2014. For MDS course within the departments of prosthodontia, Operative medicine and Paedodontics intake capability of three students has been done whereas within the department of periodontia and dental orthopaedics there's intake capability of two seats from the session 2014-2015. coaching course for Dental Hygeinist and Dental Mechanic has additionally been started with the intake capability of twenty students in every course to supply basic tending to the individuals of the state.
